FAQ
The switching questions

The five questions you actually have, before you switch.

Plainspoken answers to what small haulers ask us right before they cut over from enterprise dispatch's procurement math, multi-year contracts, and seat-based invoices — per-truck versus per-seat pricing, monthly terms, Monday setup, QuickBooks, and whether the driver app holds up on a real route.

Answers

Five objections, plainspoken.

Each section is the one we hear most in trial signups. The headline is the answer in plain words; the bullets are the receipts. If yours isn't here, email a human.

Objection 1 · Pricing

Flat per-truck monthly — Solo $49, Pro $99, Growth $149 — and unlimited users. Your statement is `trucks × tier rate`. That is the whole statement.

  • Solo $49, Pro $99, Growth $149 per truck per month. Three numbers — that is the whole price list.
  • Unlimited driver, dispatcher, and office-user seats on every tier. Adding a Saturday sub or a part-time bookkeeper does not add a line to the invoice.
  • Per-seat incumbents bill every login: a five-driver, three-dispatcher fleet pays six times what a solo fleet of the same truck count pays. Waykit collapses that to one line per truck.
Objection 2 · Onboarding

Fifteen-minute self-serve signup, CSV import, driver SMS-invite. First fourteen days run on a real truck — no sales call, no procurement officer.

  • Fifteen-minute self-serve signup lands you in the dashboard with an empty fleet. No sales call required to start.
  • CSV import for customers, containers, and recurring routes — no migration consultant, no scoping call, no scoped services contract.
  • Driver gets a one-tap SMS link and is on the route the same morning. The first fourteen days run on a real truck before any card is collected.

Objection 3 · GPS & live tracking

Live GPS fleet breadcrumbs ship on Pro and Growth. Honest trade-off — accurate on coverage, offline catch-up when the cell drops, breadcrumbs feed dispatch and the public tracking page.

  • Live GPS breadcrumbs are table-stakes on Pro and Growth. Solo can be live-tracked through the public tracking page, but the dispatch-board breadcrumb feed is a Pro feature.
  • Offline catch-up syncs the route when the cell drops — the dispatch board shows the rebroadcast once coverage catches up, the day does not.
  • Breadcrumbs publish to the public tracking page so the customer sees the truck without ringing the office; the same breadcrumb feeds mid-day reassignment from the cab.
Objection 4 · Dump slips

AI dump-slip OCR on Pro (50 free per truck per month) and unlimited on Growth — snap the scale ticket, weight + material + gross/tare/net land on the invoice line. Per-scan cents are visible in the app.

  • Pro ships 50 free dump-slip scans per truck per month; Growth ships unlimited. Solo is on the per-scan add-on path when a slip lands.
  • Snap the scale ticket at the transfer station — weight, gross/tare/net, material, and signature land on the invoice line before billing closes the day.
  • Overage flags attach to the same scan — the difference between hauled tonnage and allowed tonnage shows up before the customer is billed, not in next week's reconciliation meeting.
Objection 5 · Support

Solo and Pro get in-app + email support on the same Monday. Growth ships a named human on the phone plus a real human onboarding call on day one. No tier is paid for by seats.

  • Solo and Pro get the same in-app and email support — a real human reading the inbox, response times measured in hours, no tier escalates to a ticket queue.
  • Growth ships a named human you call when something is on fire — plus a real human onboarding call on day one, not a templated setup email.
  • Every tier includes unlimited driver, dispatcher, and office-user logins — support is paid for by the trucks that run the route, not by the seats that sit in the office.
Fourteen days on one real route. Zero setup fee.

Run it on Monday. Decide if it earns its keep.

Drop a CSV, invite a driver by SMS, and run the same route you already ran this week on Waykit for fourteen days. Same trucks, same Monday — only the tool changes. If it doesn't pay for itself, cancel from inside the app.
